As a producer, how important it is to have stars in the film, as they are the crowd pullers?

If you go by the latest figures 95% of the films made with stars have flopped so which stars are you talking about? Why should I make films depending on those 5% and let them take the credit. All that matters is a good subject of the film.

This question I guess sells with your readers. Every journalist will ask this question during an interview. I assure you’ll that next time when I am making a film I will keep in mind that I have to carry something along from the sets to share with you guys.



Does this question annoy you?

No it doesn’t annoy. I find it silly when I read the answers of this question in any interview. Every time I am asked this I start cursing myself to have not been remembering anything to share. Now since you have asked, about this film I can share that in one of the riotous scenes all the actors ended up in bruises and cuts. The actors injured themselves, as there was no one to hold their horses.
