Yahoo! Movies has posted a new clip from A Nightmare on Elm Street, which you can view below. The teen slasher remake opens in theaters on April 30th.
The new A Nightmare on Elm Street looks like a straight up remake of the original, but without the cheese. A group of teenagers is terrorized in their sleep by the horribly disfigured apparition of Freddy Kruger, a known serial killer and the town's darkest secret. As long as the teens stay awake, they're safe, but once they slip into unconsciousness, it's playtime for Freddy!
Directed by Samuel Bayer, the movie stars Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton.
