Raajneeti - the latest by Prakash Jha is a hard-hitting Film!! | Bollywood Hindi Movie Review/Ranbir Kapoor/Katrina Kaif/Arjun Rampal/Ajay Devgan

NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS! THE DARKENESS OF THE HEART IS CONTRADICTORY TO THE SMILE WHICH LIGHTENS THE FACE!!

Deceptive and conniving, Samar Pratap (Ranbir Kapoor) takes the breath away as Ranbir gives a lifetime performance, quite contrary to what he did in “Wake up Sid”! Prakash Jha’s new multi-cast film “RAAJNEETI” scores a seven on ten easily and without a doubt harbors best performances by underrated Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee.

The story-canvas of this film is large. Shot entirely in Madhya Pradesh, especially Bhopal, Prakash Jha’s “RAJNITI” delves deep into the heart of politics and bares the truth in a dare-all game!

The film opens with Bhaskar Sanyal (Naseeruddin Shah), the communist leader of the opposition leaving town as a recluse after he ‘sleeps’ with a young woman Bharti (Nikhila Tirkha), daughter of a leader (Darshan Zariwala) of the ruling party. But she idolizes Bhaskar Sanyal.

On a stormy night when Bhaskar Sanyal is preparing his Khichdi, Bharti cooks her own, by dancing in the rain, showing the swell of her bosom to the communist leader through rain soaked kameez and getting smoldered with the fire of carnal desire within. In a jiffy she drags Bhaskar into the rain and literally bullies him into holding her tight and soon they are smooching!

Two pairs of lips come together hungrily and they are off to bed, resulting in - (one): the ‘exit’ of Naseeruddin Shah and (two): the birth of the illegitimate child who later grows up to be Ajay Devgan, Suraj the Dalit leader.
