In the entertainment industry, great talent breeds great talent. Juno Temple, daughter of filmmaker Julien Temple, is set to come out of her director father's shadow as she continues to pick up work at major movie studios. Having appeared in four films since last year (including St. Trinian's, Year One and Greenberg), she's now been cast in her biggest role to date.
The Hollywood Reporter scoops that Paul W.S. Anderson has cast the 20 year old actress as the Queen in his developing Three Musketeers film at Summit. She joins a cast that includes Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen, Christoph Waltz, Mads Mikkelsen and Milla Jovovich (with whom she just finished the film Dirty Girl).
It's a big deal for such a young (and largely unknown) actress. A property like The Three Musketeers always has the potential to be a hit and Anderson has an eclectic and appropriate cast to make this period piece feel fresh. Take that, Doug Liman!
