Ravana - Movie Review/Yogish, Sanchitha Padukone, Dwarakish, Santosh

Ravana is a remake of Tamil super hit film Kadhal Kondein (2003) directed by Selvaragavan. Director Yogish Hunsur has been very keen to make the script look better than the original version. Some extra shots has been added to attract Kannada audiences.

THE CHARACTERS

Vinod (Yogish), a first year engineering student falls in love with his classmate Divya (Sanchitha Padukone) while Divyapines for Adhi (Sathish).

THE PLOT

Vinod was brought up in an orphanage. He gets admission in an engineering collage in the city thanks to his marks. Vinod is not befriended by any of his classmates but is insulted. Divya comes to his rescue, admires his knowledge and becomes his best friend. Yogish falls in love with her following the advice of his church priest. Meanwhile, Divya falls in love with Adhi which results in Vinod getting obsessed about Divya to such an extent that he kidnaps her to the forest to win her heart. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
